These pictures were taken on a field trip to Bryce Canyon. We did geological field studies for Geology of Bryce and Zion, a course at Yavapai College taught by Stan Beus. Stan is the author of Geology of the Grand Canyon and gave the Surprise Canyon formation it’s name. Bryce is a spectacular and wondrous place. No pictures really do it justice, just like the Grand Canyon. The hoodoos are amazing. Make this a “must see”!
